The Lash Academy was born from a simple but powerful dream:
To take everything that I’ve learned over my 13 years as the owner and lash stylist of The Lash Bar Seattle and transform it into a Virtual Academy.
This is more than a lash certification.
It’s a Lash Boss Bible — a place where lash artistry and boss babe energy unite.
The Lash Academy was created to empower women who are ready to be their own boss through lash artistry.
My mission is simple:
To teach high-quality, natural, classic lash techniques with integrity — while supporting women in becoming confident, skilled artists and business owners.
Lash artistry is more than a beauty service.
It’s an opportunity to create your own schedule, earn strong income, build a loyal clientele, and make people feel beautiful at the same time.

My Story
I graduated from The International School of Beauty in 2011 and became a licensed esthetician shortly after.
Immediately after graduating, I completed an online lash certification course. While it gave me a basic foundation, I quickly realized that true mastery required more than this certificate.
At the time, there was a boutique lash studio in Austin, Texas that I deeply admired. It felt aspirational — I took a leap, applied, and was accepted into a 30-day apprenticeship under the studio’s founder.
That apprenticeship changed everything.
It was there that I learned the natural, healthy approach to lash artistry — precise technique, thoughtful design, and working with high-quality products in a luxury environment. The standards were high, and the education was hands-on and transformative.
After six months of working at that lash studio in Austin, life shifted and I returned to Washington State with a new vision: to build something of my own.
In late 2011, I joined Vida Spa, introducing lash services to their location and working under a unique commission structure. With no client base, I built my business from the ground up — creating my own website, teaching myself SEO, Marketing, and refining my craft daily.
In about 6 months, I was already fully booked.
That momentum allowed me to move to Seattle, support myself independently, and eventually open my own space. For nearly a decade, I operated a successful lash business in downtown Seattle — managing overhead, marketing, client retention, and growth.
Along the way, I continued investing in advanced training and products, including recertification to carry professional-grade adhesive to refine my technique further.
Over time, however, something shifted.
After years in the service industry, I realized I was ready for evolution. I had grown. My values had expanded. I wanted more freedom, more flexibility, and a way to share what I had learned without being limited to a treatment room.
The Lash Academy was born from that realization.
Instead of keeping over a decade of experience confined to in-person appointments, I chose to transform it into education — empowering women to build their own careers in lash artistry with integrity, confidence, and independence.
This is not about leaving lashes behind.
It’s about elevating them.
